DINING ROOM TABLE CENTERPIECE: CHRISTMAS EDITION

Want the look? Don’t worry. I got you! Follow the steps below to create a swoon worthy dining room centerpiece for any season!

1. Get yourself a table runner. I LOVE a table runner. It adds just a little character and it’s a total vibe. I love the one that I have, it fits my modern farmhouse aesthetic. I ended up buying this YEARS ago from Amazon. It cleans up super well and is simple to throw in the wash if it happens to get dirty!

2. Next, you gotta find what you are wanting to put on your table. In my case, I wanted to repurpose some vases that I had around the house. I loved how it ended up turning out. Here is what I picked:

  • 1 solid colored vase (had some red for the holidays!)

  • 2 glass vases of different sizes

  • 3 candle stick holders & candles

  • wood bead garland

  • holiday ornaments

3. This is where the fun part begins! You get to actually start creating your table centerpiece. Sometimes this will take several tries, so don’t get discouraged!! I ended up placing the tallest vases & candle holders towards the back. That way the smaller items wouldn’t be covered up and everything could stand out! If you notice from the picture below, I staggered the vases and the candle holders in a zig zag pattern.

4. Once I placed the larger items, I began placing down the wood bead garland. I wrapped it around several vases & candle holders to make it somewhat interesting… at least I think it looks interesting! After I found a placement I added in some small red ornaments since it was the holiday season! It added a little bit of color, without being completely obnoxious.

5. Place your greenery in your vase or vases! I LOVE eucalyptus. It’s bad. It’s legit everywhere in my house, but I love the natural elements it creates in my home and to me, it makes it more “homey” and I don’t have to worry about keeping anything alive! I’m a known unintentional plant killer… I decided to put a bunch of the eucalyptus in the largest vase and just a couple small pieces in the smallest vase while leaving the medium sized vase empty.

Unfortunately, some of the vases that I had are now no longer available :( but no worries… I found some that are similar that hopefully you’ll obsess about :) I also have the vases linked below throughout my house!
