MOOD BOARD MONDAY: HOME OFFICE

The home office! This space has become such a vital place within the last 2 years since so many more people are working from home. Sometimes, the office can feel like the last space to complete or refine. In my home it is still in the works! It’s one of those places where it “kind of” is finishes, but kind of not, at least in my book! My husband may think otherwise…

Your home office should reflect how you want to feel while you work. Calm and reviving? Energetic and exciting? Happy and cheery? Think first about how you want to feel and that will help guide you to what elements you should include in your design.

For this weeks mood board, I decided to stay with the same theme from my two previous posts, Master Bedroom and Living Room. The thought is that this space would be cohesive in design with the other rooms for an entire house design! I brought in textures with the rug, light and bright using greens, grays, and whites, but also giving it an industrial feel with the desk having rod iron in it.
