$20 WALMART CHRISTMAS GARLAND

YALL. This garland is the best I’ve gotten over the last several years during Christmas.

I’ve legit tried everything… cheap, not cheap, ugly, not ugly. Truly the list goes on and on (DON’T JUDGE ME!). But THIS. THIS garland is where it’s at. If you don’t walk to Walmart… you better run and get this now before it’s gone.

HOW TO GET THE LOOK: WALMART GARLAND

Okay, so no. This is not one strand of garland. It’s actually 3 total! I could absolutely get away with doing two, but I love a full look. Check out my step by step guide below if you want this look!

  1. I use command strips or an adhesive hook to get myself set up. I LOVE these from Amazon because they are clear, easy to apply, and holds a LOT of weight. Believe me, you’ll want something strong because it’ll be holding up a lot of goodies. I ended up using a total of 5 hooks. Two went on the left side, two went on the right side, and one nestled into the garland to hang my bells.

  2. FLUFF OUT YOUR GARLAND!!! Before you do anything. Fluff, fluff, fluff! Believe me it’ll make a HUGE difference and then you really only need to do minimal fluffing once it’s up.

  3. I knew I wanted the garland to hang off to the right side, so I started with my 9ft Walmart Garland. I still can’t get over the fact that this garland is $20 AND 9ft!! Like… come on. Anyways, I started this piece of garland on the left side and I didn’t care too much about the end, this will get covered up. Then I swung it over to the right and let it hang a little lower than I wanted it to, because I was layering two others on top!

  4. It’s hard to tell, but there is another garland sneaking itself in there. It is a 6 ft Walmart Garland and it is not as full as the 9ft Garland. But that’s okay! Because… l a y e r s. I hooked this one to my second hook and swung it over sitting on top of my other piece that was already there. This piece did not hang down much, but that’s fine because it created a lot of volume that I was looking for!

  5. Then I layered my 9ft Walmart Garland on top of it all! I put this on my first hook, so it matched up with my first 9ft garland, not the 6 ft. I swooped it over once again and let it rest on top of everything.

  6. This is the fun part…. FLUFF AGAIN!! Yes… you do need to fluff y’all. The best part about the garland though is that it is SUPER flexible and you can move it around very easily to achieve the look you want. I tried to hide the wires and any imperfections that were bothering me.

  7. Last thing is to have FUN! I am not done yet. This is still in the early stages… I did add some bells that I am truly obsessed with. I found them on Amazon and they are going quick… they are a perfect rustic brass that reminds me of Santa’s Sleigh. Don’t worry… I am going to do a full post just dedicated to these babies :)

I am absolutely loving this look, it’s very organic and allows for some playfulness that I’ve been missing in this past Christmas’.
